VPS questions
Do I get root access?
Yes. Every VPS comes with full root access over SSH.
Can I change resources later?
Yes. You can upgrade CPU, memory, storage and bandwidth from your dashboard. Some changes need a reboot.
What is the difference between self-managed and managed?
With self-managed you look after the operating system and software. With managed, our team helps with setup, updates and troubleshooting.
Can I rent a VPS for only a few days?
Yes. Choose a 1, 3, 5 or 10-day term in the configurator. See Short-Term Rental for how expiry works.
What am I not allowed to run?
Anything prohibited by the Acceptable Use Policy, such as spam, attacks on other systems or illegal content.
